Website Costs

There is a lot of controversy about website expenses and how much is too much. The fact is you can pay anywhere from $99 dollar up to thousands of dollars for websites. Chances are you will be unhappy with both of those options. Most business websites are informational based and there is no need for any difficult, time consuming programming and shouldn't be charged thousands of dollars for. On the flip side the $99 dollar option will generally be a non-custom, template, generic website. Also, that $99 dollar price will not include everything that you think it will. Lots of time they just try to get you to sign on then get you for additional charges.

So, what's the best option then? Find a company that is in between that has a good track record and portfolio. Also, find you can try to find a company that is customer driven that is open about information. Web Design companies generally don't display their prices and I would look for ones that do.

Also, another money saver is getting your site to have a "Content Management System" installed. This is smart website software that allows anyone to update and manage the website very easily without any knowledge of website coding. This should be a one time cost that will help you save residual money that you would be spending on bogus "web maintenance" costs.

A good idea would be to user our Free Website Design service that allows you to view what your website could look like first before you buy anything.
